Who We AreReferral Office CHAD for Bumrungrad International Hospital ("we", "us", "our") is an independent referral and support office based in Asia/Bangkok, Thailand, with support offices in Chad and Ethiopia. We are not a hospital and we do not provide medical treatment. We connect patients from various African countries with Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, and support them before, during and after their medical journey.2. Our ServicesWe provide non‑medical support services, which may include:• Information about Bumrungrad International Hospital and its services.• Coordination of medical appointments and scheduling with the hospital.• Assistance with visa support letters and basic travel guidance.• Coordination of medical cost estimates and treatment plans provided by the hospital.• Communication support between the patient and the hospital (e.g. language and time‑zone support).All medical decisions, diagnoses, treatments, procedures and clinical advice are provided solely by Bumrungrad International Hospital and its medical staff. We do not give medical advice and we do not guarantee any medical outcome.3. No Medical AdviceAny information we share about conditions, treatments, doctors or hospitals is for general information only. It does not replace a consultation with a qualified doctor. Always follow the advice of your treating physician or other qualified health provider.4. Relationship with Bumrungrad International HospitalWe act as a referral and coordination office to help you access services at Bumrungrad International Hospital. The hospital is fully responsible for:• All medical services and clinical decisions.• The quality and safety of medical care.• Hospital billing for medical services.Your medical contract is directly with Bumrungrad International Hospital, not with us. Our role is limited to support, coordination and communication.5. Service Fees and Payments• Our support services may be free of charge to patients, or may include service fees, depending on the package or agreement explained to you in advance.• All hospital medical fees, treatment costs and related charges are set and billed by Bumrungrad International Hospital.• Payments for medical services are usually made directly to the hospital, unless we clearly inform you in writing of another arrangement.• All prices and payments are generally in Thai Baht (THB), unless otherwise stated.6. Estimates and Cost Evaluations• Any cost estimate or medical package price we share is based on information provided by the hospital and on the medical information you provide.• Estimates are not final and may change depending on your diagnosis, test results, treatment decisions and length of stay.• You are responsible for any additional costs that arise during your treatment, including extra tests, procedures, extended stay, travel, accommodation and personal expenses.7. Travel, Visa and Accommodation• We may assist with visa support letters, appointment confirmation letters and general travel guidance.• We are not responsible for decisions made by embassies, consulates, airlines, immigration authorities or hotels.• You are responsible for your own travel documents, visas, insurance, flights, accommodation and local transportation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.8. Insurance and Third‑Party Services• If you use health insurance, assistance companies, travel agencies or other third‑party services, their terms and conditions apply.• We are not responsible for decisions or delays by insurance companies or other third parties.9. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law:• We are not liable for any medical decisions, diagnoses, treatments, complications, side effects or outcomes. These are the full responsibility of Bumrungrad International Hospital and its medical staff.• We are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from travel issues, visa refusals, flight delays, cancellations, accommodation problems or actions of third parties.• Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount of service fees (if any) that you have paid directly to us for our support services.10. Your ResponsibilitiesBy using our services, you agree to:• Provide complete, accurate and honest medical and personal information.• Share all relevant medical reports, test results and documents.• Follow the instructions of your treating doctors and the hospital.• Arrange and maintain valid travel documents, visas and insurance.• Pay all medical and related costs that are not covered by insurance or other parties.11. Privacy and Confidentiality• We handle your personal and medical information with care and share it only with Bumrungrad International Hospital and relevant partners as needed to arrange your care.• We may use secure digital tools (email, messaging, forms) to collect and share information.• For more details on how your data is collected, used and protected, please refer to our Privacy Policy on this website.12.
